Departure – Mumbai International Airport

The Trekking Group
Summit Adventures can run the Everest Base Camp trek for group of any size. But generally, a group of twelve to fifteen people, is the most optimum. However, if we wish to make a group booking for more than twelve people, Summit Adventures will whole heartedly make that happen.

Itinerary

DAY 01 – ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU
  • Report to Mumbai International Airport 3 hours prior to departure.
  • Fly to Kathmandu.
  • Greeted by a Summit Adventures representative at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
  • Rest until dinner.
  • Overnight stay in Kathmandu. Included Meals: Dinner
DAY 02 – KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING AND TREK PREPARATION - RAMCHHAP BY ROAD
  • Visit Pashupatinath Temple.
  • Pre-trip discussion with the trek leader.
  • Proceed to Ramchhap after lunch.
  • Overnight stay at Ramchhap. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 03 – RAMCHHAP TO LUKLA - LUKLA TO PHAKDING BY TREK
  • Early morning flight to Lukla.
  • Trek from Lukla to Phakding.
  • Short evening hike for acclimatization.
  • Overnight stay in Phakding. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 04 – PHAKDING TO MONJO
  • Trek from Phakding to Monjo.
  • Pass through a pine forest and cross Dudh Koshi River.
  • Overnight stay in Monjo. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 05 – MONJO TO NAMCHE BAZAAR
  • Trek to Namche Bazaar.
  • Enter Sagarmatha National Park.
  • Ascend on a steep trail with incredible views.
  • Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 06 – NAMCHE BAZAAR ACCLIMATIZATION
  • Spend the day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar.
  • Tour the town and hike to Sagarmatha National Park.
  • Enjoy sunrise over the Himalayas.
  • Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 07 – NAMCHE BAZAAR TO TENGBOCHE
  • Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche.
  • Descend to Dudh-Koshi River and ascend through rhododendron forests.
  • Visit Tengboche Monastery.
  • Overnight stay in Tengboche. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 08 – TENGBOCHE TO DINGBOCHE
  • Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche.
  • Trek through forests and reward with views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
  • Overnight stay in Dingboche. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 09 – DINGBOCHE ACCLIMATIZATION
  • Spend the day acclimatizing in Dingboche.
  • Hike to Nagarjun Hill for panoramic views.
  • Overnight stay in Dingboche. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 10 – DINGBOCHE TO LOBUCHE
  • Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche.
  • Climb to Thukla Pass and enjoy views of Khumbu Glacier and Himalayan peaks.
  • Overnight stay in Lobuche. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 11 – LOBUCHE TO GORAK SHEP - KALA PATTAR
  • Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep.
  • Hike to Kala Patthar for panoramic views of Mt. Everest.
  • Return to Gorak Shep for overnight stay. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 12 – VISIT EVEREST BASE CAMP - GORAK SHEP TO LUKLA BY HELICOPTER
  • Trek to Everest Base Camp.
  • Return to Gorak Shep and fly to Lukla by helicopter.
  • Overnight stay in Lukla. Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
DAY 13 – FLY FROM LUKLA TO KATHMANDU
  • Early morning flight to Kathmandu.
  • Free time for souvenir shopping or relaxation.

DAY 14 – AT KATHMANDU
  • Day free for leisure or shopping.

Risk & Laibilities

We will endeavor to make your program smooth and as pleasant as possible. However, the entire programs of trekking are on the ranges of great mountains.  Therefore, Summit Adventures shall not be responsible for any changes in the itineraries due to unavoidable circumstance and natural disasters such as landslide, road blockage, flood, snowing, cancellation of flight and delay, any types of sickness including altitude sickness.  Any extra cost including there shall be borne by trekkers themselves

Insurance

Full trekking and travel insurance coverage for medicine, rescue evacuation, lost of belongs, and trip cancellation is strongly recommended. We recommend purchasing insurance policy with reliable company which most cover the emergency medical evacuation.

Bring the following items with you

Woolen gloves, Balaclava, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woolen socks, Towel, Light Jacket, Down-Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun and cold cream, Torch with extra batteries / bulbs, Raincoat, Paper Soap, Sweater, Shirt / T-shirt, Trekking shoes, trekking stick, flip- flop, persons medicines and bandages ETC – as required.
