Tour Details

KALIMPONG:-
Hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located at an average elevation of 1,250 metres (4,101 ft). The town is set to be the headquarters of the announced district of Kalimpong. The Indian Army’s 27 Mountain Division is located on the outskirts of the town. The Local Sight Seeing would Cover- Dr. Grahams Homes School, Lord Buddha Statue, Sherpa View Point, Delo Hill, Hanuman Temple, Mangal Dham, Durpin Monastery Etc

LAVA LOLAY GAON:-
Lava and Loleygaon are two quaint mountain hamlets in Darjeeling district under Kalimpong block and surrounded by forests. Altitude of Lava is 7,700ft while Loleygaon (also known as Kaffer village) is at a lower altitude of 5,500ft. Since they are close to each other (about one hour driving distance between the two), Loleygaon is 20 kms from Lava, is basically a Lepcha village always attract people for its superb natural beauty, wide view of  Himalayas, deep forest and watching one of the most beautiful Sunrise on Kanchenjunga, which can be enjoyed from Jhantidhara Sunrise Point, 4 kms from Loleygaon.

ICCHEY GAON:-
located at an altitude of 5800 feet in the hills of Kalimpong, district Darjeeling of West Bengal. This marvelous hill top offers a spectacular view of Mount Kanchanjangha. Ichhegaon, which means top in the local Lapcha language is the topmost point of this area. The lash green forest of the valley is made up by woodlands of Pine, Birch and Juniper trees. Few rare orchids and colorful and bright canopy of Rhododendron is a visual pleasure.

ZULUK:- SILK ROTE-
Located at a height of around 10,100 feet on the rugged terrain of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim, Zuluk or Dzuluk is a small village beside a winding road. It was once a transit point to the historic Silk Route from Tibet to India. It is relatively an emerging and offbeat destination in East Sikkim. This small village accommodates a population of around 700 people Zuluk is a hilltop and a transit point within the Silk Route. The road through Zuluk makes almost 32 hairpin turns to reach Lungthung, SUNRISE VEW KANCHANJANGA which makes it a unique engineering feat. There is a local Nag Temple here. The temple has a cave like structure and the deity of King Cobra or Nag. Another great attraction of Zuluk lies in watching the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjungha and its allied peaks from Thambi View Point (around 14 kms away) at 11,200 feet. The glittering rays of the rising sun kisses the snow clad peak of Mt. Kanchenjungha, which slowly turns crimson and then golden and finally silver. The spectacle is truly breathtaking. While staying at Zuluk you can cover Padamchen, Lungthung, Nathang, Kupup Lake, Tukla Valley and all other spots in the Silk Route circuit in day trips. Zuluk has high diversity of Himalayan fauna. The place shelters variety of birds like Monal Pheasant, Blood Pheasant, Khaleez Pheasant, Snow Pheasant and others. You may also catch a glimpse of Himalayan Weasel or A Martin. Sighting of Red Panda, wild dog and deer in the high hills have also been recorded.

NATHANG VALLEY:-

If you do not like Nathang Valley, you would not like paradise. Located at an altitude of 13,500 feet, this lush valley was the home to traditional yak herders who came from Tibet. Few streams crisscross the valley, and prayer flags flutter on the mountain edges on this vast plain of nothingness. Nathang Valley appears in different colours in different times of the year. In autumn it looks golden when the grass dries up, in rainy season it’s covered in flowers and in winter it is buried in 5 feet of snow. Nathang Valley is also visited by migratory birds just before the onset of winter. You would find a Hindu temple and a small Buddhist Monastery in the valley on the fringes of a small village. You would find the famous Eagle’s Nest Bunker from where you can get a 360 degree view of the whole range of Mt. Kanchenjungha, West Bhutan, and plains of Bengal, China, Tibet and the beautiful River Bramhaputra meandering across in the horizon. Sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjungha from Eagle’s Nest Bunker is beyond human description.

TSOMGO LAKE:-
38 km from Gangtok and at an altitude of 12,400 ft, the ethereally beautiful Tsomgo lake is a must on every visitors itinerary. A winding road through rugged mountain terrain and sharp cliffs takes you to Tsomgo, which means source of the water in Bhutia language. The lake derives its water from the melting snows of the
mountains surrounding the lake. Of legendary beauty, the lake looks different at different seasons. In winter the placid lake remains frozen with the area around it covered in snow while in late spring the profusion of flowers in bloom adds a riot of colours around the lake.

GANGTOK:- RUMTEK MONESTY
Wreathed in clouds, Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim is located on a ridge at a height of 5500 feet. With a spectacular view of the Khangchendzonga. MG Marg, the main street of Gangtok town is a great place to chill out. The countries first litter and spit free zone, novehicular traffic is allowed into the marg.

LACHEN:-
At an altitude of 8500 ft Lachen is alluring in its simplicity. Not yet as big a tourist destination as Lachung, it retains a freshness which is very appealing. The village comprises of less than 200 houses, earlier inhabited only during winters by their owners who spend their summers on the alpine pastures bordering Tibet tending to their yaks. Lachen is the starting point for some of the most interesting treks in North Sikkim as well as the gateway to the holy Guru Dongmar and Tso Lhamu lakes. You can visit the Lachen Gompa here and sample the simple village life of the ‘Lachenpas’.

GURUDONGMAR LAKE:- 
Gurudongmar Lake at a height of 17100 ft, is among the top 15 highest lakes in the world and is the second highest lake in Sikkim as well as in India, the first being Cholamu lake at a height of 18000 ft, also situated in Sikkim.  Being the second highest lake in India, the panoramic and scenic beauty of the place is a sight to behold. Named after Guru Dongmar, the lake has a religious appeal.  The view of Mount Siniolchu and Khanchendzonga is breathtaking from that point. The beauty of the lake is awesome and out of the world spectacle. Surrounded by snow clad mountains and crystal clear icy water, it is considered to be a very sacred lake. Legend has it that, Guru Padmasambhava (also known as Guru Dongmar), touched and sanctified the lake, and thus, even in extreme winter, a portion of the lake does not freeze.  The lake is also one of the sources of River Teesta, which flows through Sikkim, West Bengal and Bangladesh. There is a ‘Sarva Dharma Sthal’ and as the name suggests, it’s a place of worship for all religions.

LACHUNG-
The picturesque mountain village of Lachung, at a height of 8610 ft, embraced by snow capped mountain peaks, breathtaking waterfalls, sparkling streams and apple orchards is the perfect holiday destination. Sprawled across the banks of the Lachung Chu [river] which slices the village in two, Lachung is famous for its apples, peaches and apricots. At Lachung you can visit the Lachung Gompa, built around 1880, the monastery is situated amidst apple orchards across the river from the town centre. Also go see the handicraft centre which has exquisitely woven rugs and blankets.

YUMTHANG VALLEY:-
Yumthang Valley is a beautiful valley situated in north Sikkim. It sits at an elevation of 3,500 metres above sea- level, so naturally home to many beautiful Himalayan flowers. It is rightfully called a valley of flowers, although that name is associated with the Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand. Yumthang Valley is extremely picturesque, with green slopes covered with trees, yaks grazing in the flower-spangled grassy plains below, and a river flowing right through the valley. The serene and tranquil air of the Valley cannot be described in words. A single visit there can leave the visitor in an enchanted state for weeks. It also happens to be situated at what is called “the tree-line” the altitude above which there are no trees. This makes the Yumthang Valley unique in that it has trees and Rhododendrons, and yet abounds in tiny, low-growing Himalayan flowers.

NAMCHI:-
Namchi, literally translating as ‘top of the sky’ is the South district headquarters and fast emerging as a tourist destination. Set in a picturesque location, Namchi offers an unmatched view of the Khangchendzonga range and the Rangit valley. The 135 feet high statue of Guru Padamasambhava is present at Samdruptse near Namchi at a distance of 75 kms from Gangtok. Samdruptse literally means ‘wish fulfilling hill’ in the Bhutia language. A unique, awe inspiring and gigangtic 135 feet high statue of Guru Padamasambhava is installed atop Sampruptse. It is the highest statue of Guru Padamasambhava in the world. His Holiness the Dalai Lama laid the foundation stone of the statue in October 1997. It took nearly three years to complete the statue. There is also the Namchi Rock Garden located between Namchi town and Samdruptse. This popular garden has many attractive plants, flowers and species of trees. A number of waiting sheds, view points and waterbodies along its footpaths have been provided. A neat and clean cafeteria serves the tourists and visitors well.

RABONGLA:-
Ravangla is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Sikkim. At an altitude of 7000 ft, located on a ridge between Maenam and Tendong Hill, Ravangla offers unmatched views of the Greater Himalayas. The beauty of its landscape and its location as a transit point to nearby destinations has made Ravangla a must-visit place. 8 kms on way to Damthang is the Rayong sunrise view point that offers spectacular views of the first rays of the sun falling on snow peaks. Visit the Ralong monastery as well as the Tibetan Carpet Centre.

DAY 1: MUM / PUNE - BAGDOGRA

Reporting Pune airport at ………. hrs. Fly from Pune by …. at ………. hrs Arrival Ahmedabad Airport at ……….hrs. Transfer to Bagdogra. Arrival at Bagdogra, Pick up from Bagdogra Airport the group escort and be transferred to Siliguri & Overnight stay.

DAY 02: SILIGURI- - KALIMPONG- LABHA - ICCHEY GAON BY ROAD (95KM/ 04- 05HRS)

Morning after breakfast gear up for your tour and depart for Icchey Gaon. The ride will be of approximately 95 Km’s and4-5 Hrs Kms covering Kalimpong Labha and Lolay Village (Sight Seeing Only if Time Permits), and Reaching Icchey Gaon on a Straight through Ride. Reach Icchey Gaon and Check-in to your Home stay. Relax and the rest of the day is free for Leisure- Dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 03: ICCHEY GAON - PEDONG- RHENOK- RESHI- PADAMCHEN- ZULUK (90KM/ 04HRS)

Morning after Breakfast get ready for a tough and tiresome ride in the Beautiful Mountains of East Sikkim, Ride slow trying to encounter the breath taking view and many of bird’s species. Covering small towns of Rhenok where you can refresh yourself and continue on the journey for the day. Reach Zuluk and rest for the
Day. Over night at the Home stay in Zuluk.

DAY 04: ZULUK- NATHANG VALLEY – GNATHANG – KUPUP - OLD AND NEW BABA MANDIR – TSOMGO LAKE – GANGTOK. (89 KMS / 05 HRS)

Morning be greeted by the magnetic view of mount Kanchendzonga- ride nearby places known as the Nathang valley a beautiful small settlement of local Tibetans with a small local school and 02 monasteries with 2 cluster of houses and a small stream flowing. The valley is truly a beautiful place with yaks Grazing on the back drop and Himalayan Birds resting on their backs.Morning again after a simple breakfast depart for Gangtok covering Kupup, Tsongo Lake and Baba Mandir- exit the restricted area Premises and Enter the City of Gangtok where you can say hello to comfort one again. Reach Gangtok and Check-in to your Hotel Pre booked- Enjoy your Day for Leisure and Rest- Dinner and overnight stay in the pre booked hotel.

DAY 05: FULL DAY GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING

Morning after Breakfast leave for Full day Sight-seeing of Gangtok and Near- by places, the Full day sight- seeing covers 10 Points all over Gangtok – Lingdum Monastery, Ban-jhakri Waterfalls, Rumtek Monastery, Enchey Monastery, Rope Way, Ganesh Tok, Institute of Tibetology, Tashi view Point, Nehru View Point, Shanti View Point. Morning after an Early Breakfast avail your Permits by approximately 8:00am and Head towards the North Of Sikkim-to the district of Lachen, ENROUTE COVERING Destinations and Sights such as Singhik View point, Seven Sister Water Fall, Naga Water Fall, arrive at Lachen, check-in to your Hotel and after dinner take rest. As you would have a early day start the next Day.

DAY 07- LACHEN – THANGU VALLEY – GURUDONGMAR LAKE – LACHEN (120 KMS / 06 HRS)

Early morning after leave from the hotel (5:00 AM) for the sight-seeing of places around Lachen such as Chopta, Thangu valley and Gurudongmar Lake, Leave the area soon because the velocity of wind increases very fast and may be extremely difficult for the bikers, Return back to Lachen and Rest of the day for leisure and over Night Stay in the Hotel.

DAY 08- LACHEN- CHUNGTHANG – LACHUNG (100 KMS / 05 HRS)

Morning After Breakfast leave for Lachung valley driving back to chungthang and then the bi-fication to Lachung- on arrival at Lachung check-in to your Hotel and Evening free for Leisure- Dinner and Over Night Stay in the Hotel.

DAY 09- LACHUNG FULL DAY SIGHT SEEING
